Description
Cambridge International AS Level Sociology encourages learners to think sociologically about contemporary social, cultural, and political issues. Students will develop knowledge of terms, theories, methods, and research needed for the study of sociology, an understanding of continuity and change in social life, an understanding of the range and limitations of sociological theory, and critical thinking skills required for further study. Finally, students will also develop the ability to interpret, apply, analyze, and evaluate sociological research in preparation for the Cambridge AICE AS Level Sociology exam. Students will explore key concepts and topics such as socialization and social identity, research methods, theories of the family, and family roles.
