A recent survey by Common Sense found that 58% of students ages 12 to 18 have used ChatGPT and 77% of parents are excited about the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. While these findings show that parents and students are generally optimistic about the potential of AI, the rapid advancement of emerging technologies has brought forth new challenges to maintaining academic integrity.
