Ms. Robin Winder

Robin Winder is the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) for Florida Virtual School (FLVS). She oversees and guides the daily operations of instruction for FLVS Full Time and FLVS Flex, Virtual Learning Labs, Blended Learning Communities, FlexPoint Virtual School, and all other instructional lines of business. As CAO, Ms. Winder also oversees Curriculum Development, District Exceptional Student Education (ESE), School Safety and Mental Health, Federal Programs, and all matters relating to student support and parental services, such as guidance, enrollment, academic integrity, literacy, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and 504 Compliance, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), tutoring, and student clubs.

Ms. Winder sets standards of quality and assists the staff in translating those standards into high-quality instruction. As a member of the President/CEO’s Executive team, she participates in the school’s overall strategy, planning, and delivery.

In her more than 20 years of service with FLVS, Ms. Winder has held many roles within the organization including instructor, academic integrity manager, instructional mentor and leader, director of instruction, and senior director of instruction.

Ms. Winder has a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Central Florida. She also holds Principal and Educational Leadership certifications.
