Robin Winder
Robin Winder is the Chief Academic Officer for FlexPoint and Florida Virtual School, where she leads academic strategy, instructional innovation, and program design for one of the nation’s most established and scalable online education providers. FlexPoint provides a comprehensive, award-winning curriculum to public, private, charter, and homeschool families and school districts nationwide.
As a member of the president/CEO’s executive team, Winder contributes to systemwide strategic planning, growth, and delivery of digital learning programs that reach hundreds of thousands of learners annually across Florida and beyond.
Winder oversees FLVS Full Time and FLVS Flex, Virtual Learning Labs, Blended Learning Communities, FlexPoint Virtual School, and all instructional lines of business, including the Florida Scholars Academy (FSA).
In 2023, Winder led the launch of Florida’s first unified school district serving 2,300 students in the care of the Department of Juvenile Justice, developing the district’s governance, policies, instructional framework, and staffing from the ground up.
Winder provides executive leadership across Analysis, Assessment, and Accountability (AAA); Exceptional Student Education (ESE); school safety and mental health; federal programs; academic integrity; literacy initiatives; tutoring; ESOL; and parent engagement. She works closely with instructional teams to ensure consistent quality standards and strong student outcomes across all FlexPoint and FLVS programs.

Since joining the organization in 2003, Winder has served as instructor, mentor, instructional leader, and senior director of student learning, helping build one of the country’s earliest and most successful virtual school systems. She continues to champion innovative approaches that expand student access, improve outcomes, and reimagine what public education can look like.
